Jacob Adam Murray, age 19, went peacefully to Jesus on March 18, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Jacob was born on August 3, 2001 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Adam and Julie Murray. Jacob made everyone who knew him a better person because no matter how big their troubles were, his struggles were bigger.

He was an inspiration to all and his fighting spirit was larger than life. His beautiful smiles lit up the room.

He is survived by his parents; his sister, Brittany (Luke); his brothers, Cole and Justin; his grandmother, Deborah Cissell (Tom Martin); niece, Caroline; aunt, Lori (Jimmy), Kirk; ncle, Jeff (Laura) McCain, numerous cousins, and his caring medical team.

Jacob is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Phyllis Murray, Benjamin P. Cissell, and Wilson McCain.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24th, 1:00-7pm at Southeast Christian Church River Valley, 12650 W U.S. HWY 42, Prospect, KY 40059 and Thursday at the church from 11am-1pm with his funeral service at 1pm. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Kourageous Kids, Make a Wish, or River Valley Campus (Southeast Christian Church).
