FACKLER, JAMES A. "AL," 84, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010.
He was a US Army WWII Veteran, a former owner of City Delivery Service and an independent car wash operator.
Al was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Fackler; and son, James A. Fackler, Jr.
He is survived by his sons, Dennis Fackler, Stephen Fackler (Marcia), and Philip Fackler (Laura); daughter, Lisa Lewellen (Jerald); sisters, Sister Adelaide Fackler, and Elsie Dues; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their love, and gratitude to Louise Schadt for her devotion and kindness in her care taking of Al, and to her family for the patience they have shown during this time.
His funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Monday at Highlands.
