DUMEYER, JANE, 85, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Norton Suburban Hospital.
Born in Springfield, KY, she was the former Jane Montgomery and retired from the Department of Cardiology at U of L after 20 years. She was also a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church and a former volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo, Frank and Johnny Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, David G. Dumeyer, Sr. and would have celebrated 61 years of marriage October 15, 2010. Also left to cherish her memory, her children and granchildren; son, David Jr. ( Stephanie) and their son, Griff Dumeyer; daughters, Mary Jo Flaherty (Kevin) and her son Justin Owen , Nancy Dumeyer and her daughter, Erica Dumeyer and sister, Sally Ratyna (Joe).
Her Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday October 18, 2010 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Ave. with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2-8 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
