Obituary for Jane F. Sweeney (Renfro)
Jane Frances Renfro Sweeney went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 19th, 2022 at the age of 73. Jane was born in Louisville, KY on October 14th, 1948 to Francis (Frank) Renfro and Edna Jane Douglas Renfro. She lived in the Crescent Hill neighborhood and graduated from Atherton High School in Louisville in 1966.
She began working as the District Secretary for W.T. Grant Company until its closing. She became Executive Secretary for International Harvester Foundry and beginning in 1984 was the Pharmacy Secretary / Administrative Assistant at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville for 32 years until her retirement in 2017.
Jane is survived by her husband, Dennis Sweeney; brother, Robert Renfro, daughter, Sandra Rivera; son, Nicholas Sweeney; daughter, Michelle Moore; and grandchildren, Julian, Channing, Taylor and Kendall.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 31st at Highlands Funeral Home with a memorial service following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Redline Performing Arts or The First Tee of Louisville.
