Jean Lake "Lakie" Gordon Campbell 92, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022. Lakie was born and raised in Springfield, KY, the third of five children of the late John and Emma Gordon. She graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in Springfield.

Lakie was the loving wife of 63 years to Frank Campbell, with whom she raised a family of four boys, Pete, Rich, John and Chip.

In addition to her parents, Lakie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Campbell; her sisters, Betty Guthrie and Emily Bradshaw; her brother, Jack Gordon; and her granddaughter, Stephanie Campbell.

Lakie is survived by her sister, Peggy Edwards; sons Peter (Jackie), Richard (Tara), John (Cheryl) and Frank "Chip" Campbell; 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10th, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, KY 40205.

Her funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11th, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40205, followed by a celebration of life for Frank and Lakie.

Interment of her ashes will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Calvary Cemetery.
