Obituary for Jean Chance Fazio
93, of Louisville, KY passed away the morning of June 29, 2022. Jean was the daughter of the late Harold Britt Chance and Martha Shanks Chance of Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, William "Bill" Chance of Smyrna, TN. Jean is survived and loved by her husband and soulmate, Alfred S. Fazio; children, Elise Fazio (John Fitzgerald), Valerie Fazio, and Donna Fazio; 3 grandchildren, Russell (Sara) Fazio, Lana Fazio (Martin Nemes), Alfred John Fazio; 7 great-grandchildren, Zachary Fazio, Sofia Fazio, Gabrielle Fazio, Josiah Fazio, Alexi Fazio, Chance Fazio, Conner Fazio and countless others to whom she was a "chosen" mother.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 9:30am until 1pm at Highlands Funeral Home located at 3331 Taylorsville Rd. A 1pm service at Highlands for Jean will follow visitation with burial service thereafter at Cave Hill Cemetery.
In honor of Jean's memory, the family requests donations to be given to Hosparus or a charity of your own choosing.
