Obituary for Jean Marie Straub (Bryan)
Jean Marie Straub, 88, of Louisville, died Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Jefferson Manor.
Born in Louisville to the late Joseph and Mary Louise Bryan, she was an RN at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital and a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Bennett.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffery Straub (Julie) and Thomas Straub (Karen); her daughter, Peggy Piatt (Doug); eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at St. John Paul II, 3539 Goldsmith Lane.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. at the home of Jeff and Julie Straub in Crestwood.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
