Obituary

Jeanne Scott Heck, a resident of Louisville, Kentucky walked away from this Earth with Jesus after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on August 7, 2020.

Jeanne is survived by: her loving husband of 22 years, Bruce Heck, her step children Kathy Head, Christina Heck, her children Meghann Frederick (Chris Frederick), Brian Doyle (Michelle Doyle), her step grandchild Gavin Heck, Jamie Head and Jesse Head and her grandchildren Chloe Frederick, Isaiah Frederick, Sadie Frederick, Riley Doyle and Hailey Doyle as well as her beloved dog Princess.

Jeanne was an avid crafter, excelling in many forms including sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting and her most recent passion, diamond painting. Jeanne loved everyone in her life with her whole heart and was totally devoted to all of her family. She was of the United Methodist faith and had a servant heart all the way until the very end of her life. A member of the Motet Singers of Louisville, Kentucky for over 20 years, she lived with a song in her heart.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an in person memorial service/visitation will not be held. Please join us online August 22, 2020 from 2-4pm (A link will be posted on the memorial website jeanneheck.com) to join in supporting her family as they grieve the loss. If you are unable to join, the family requests you leave your favorite story of Jeanne Heck in the online guestbook at jeanneheck.com. Jeanne was born 7 months after me and lived next door . Our families were friends . When we were closing in on 4 the state put I 65 thru or houses. Dad built a house on Lakeview Dr and Scott’s moved across the street. Jeanne and I were best friends. She was there when I met Mark at 14 and I told her I was going to marry Mark. She was there when at age 37, I finally married Mark. She signed our marriage license. We moved away for 10 years and the day we were moving in our current home she walked in the door ! She lived a few streets From us. I will miss my friend of 69 years! We had such a good time and friendship growing up!
