Jeannette (Jean) Powell Von Allmen, 87, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 30, 2018.

She was born in Breckenridge County, KY on September 28, 1930. She graduated from the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She was an avid reader, card player, loved sports of all kinds and cared deeply for her children, grandchildren and family.

Left to carry on her memory are daughters, Diane Hamilton (Kent ) and Kristy Fryett (Paul); son, Karl Von Allmen (Debbie); grandchildren Blaine Hamilton (Kelly), Adam Fryett, Brad Fryett (Melissa), Chad Fryett, Carrie Rudy (Jeffrey), Shelby Lindstrom (Travis Asher); and great grandchildren, Caleb and Emery, Kennedy and Cooper, Sam and Julianne; sister, Marian Robinson; brothers Ronnie Powell and Freedie Powell.

Services will be held at noon on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.

Visitation will be from 10:00am until the service at Highlands.
