Obituary for Jeffrey Glasscock

Jeffrey Winn Glasscock, 60, of Louisville, Ky., passed away on Sept. 14th. He was a loving husband with a quirky sense of humor and a great memory for unusual facts. He was also an architect and a huge UK basketball and football fan. He had taken up painting again in recent years and used another passion, archaeology, as the focus of his art. He also enjoyed home improvement projects, European and craft beers, classic rock, The Simpsons and David Lynch films.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thayer Irl Glasscock, Jr., and Anne Ashcraft Glasscock. He is survived by his wife, Renate Glasscock of Louisville; his stepson, Mark Vanderhoff (spouse, Sheila) of Louisville; his stepdaughter, Nicole Asprocolas of Portland, OR; his brother, James T. Glasscock (spouse, Tami) of Franklin, TN; and his nephews, nieces and step-grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, who loved him very much, as well as the rest of his family.

Visitation will be held 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30th, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, in Louisville.
