Obituary for Jimmy D. Stewart
Jimmy D. Stewart, 85, of Louisville, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at his home.
He worked in the pest control industry and in the home repair business. Jim loved golf, was known for his beautiful lawn, and for sharing his many skills to help others. He served in the U.S. Army in Paris, France.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace & Lillian Stewart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Melba Satchwell Stewart. He is also survived by his brother, Randall Stewart (Laurene) of Mt. Washington. Also left to cherish Jim's memory are sisters-in-law, Donnie Flynn, Mary Lou Arnold, Patsy Keeton, brother-in-law, Vic Satchwell (Judy), as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, October 1st at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow at Warsaw Cemetery in Warsaw, KY. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his name to Hosparus Health or charity of choice.
