Obituary for Jocelyn Gayle Watson
Jocelyn Gayle Watson, 67, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Norton Brownsboro.
Born in Campbellsville, KY, she was a graduate of Bellarmine College, the retired associate director of West Louisville Community Ministries, and a member of Phillips Memorial C.M.E. Church.
Jocelyn was preceded in death by her father, Morris Watson.
She is survived by her mother, Delores Watson; her siblings, Deirdre Watson, Kyle Watson (Jacqueline), Simone Finley (Keith, Sr.), Felicia Watson, and Jymyle Watson (Tomika); her nephews, Keith, Jr. and George; and her niece, Sydney.
Her funeral service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023 at Phillips Memorial C.M.E. Church, 3535 Grand Ave., 40211 with burial to follow in Taylortown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at her church.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Youth Program at Phillips Memorial CME Church.
