FLECK, JOHN WESLEY, 80, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at Kindred Hospital.
John was born June 10, 1930 in Enfield, IL to J. Louis and Faye Fleck. He was married for 34 years to his loving and devoted wife, Judy Fleck, who survives him. He was an attorney for 42 years and was a retired prosecutor with the Jefferson Co. Attorney's Office. He was also a longtime member of the Kosair Shrine Temple and a 32nd Degree Mason.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Kenneth, Dorothea, Paul, Louis, Donald and Thurman.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Greg John Fleck (Robin), Ronda Sue Fleck (Timothy), Robert Louis Fleck (Sharon) and Terri Lynn Maltby (Tadd); two stepdaughters, Melissa Hasselwander (David) and Dianne Hollan (Shelby); sister, Thelma Barbre; brother, Robert Fleck; and 11 grandchildren.
John's service will be at 1 p.m. November 1, 2010 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. His visitation will be on Sunday from 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
