Obituary for John Warner Hummel
John Warner Hummel, 91, of Louisville, died on April 26th, 2022.
Born in Louisville, John was a graduate of duPont Manual High School, U of L Speed School of Engineering, and was a structural engineer for Hummel Engineering Associates, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Lois Ray Hummel.
John is survived by his children, Holly Nolan (Bill Thomas), Connie Johns (Peter), Beth Caldwell (Jeff), and David Hummel (Beth); six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
His memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (with service to follow) on Thursday, May 26th, 2022, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd, 40205. Private burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to donor’s charity of choice.
