Obituary for John J. "Jack" Schuler Jr.
John “Jack” J. Schuler, Jr., departed this life Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 3:35 AM, in McAllen, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Anna Margaret Schuler; his five brothers, William, Norbert, Audrey, Wilbur, and Robert; and by his beloved wife, Nancy.
Jack is survived by two children, John J. Schuler, III (Nancy), and Carol Bee; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Jack was an avid square dancer, a former scout master for Troop 42, and worked over 40 years as a chemical engineer for Celanese Coatings. He was a graduate of Flaget High School and J. B. Speed School of Engineering.
His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday March 22nd, 2021, at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2131 Lanchashire Road, Louisville, KY.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, in Louisville.
Visitation will be Sunday, 1:00 -7:00 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40205. There will also be a 6:00 p.m. prayer vigil at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
