John Walker passed away at his home in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the age of 74.

John was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 26, 1944. He graduated from duPont Manual High School and attended the University of Louisville prior to serving in the U.S. Army where he served multiple tours in Vietnam.
John worked as a photographer in the Army and after distinguished himself as a set designer for theaters all over the country. In his later years, John was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed his family of cousins, nieces and nephews, reading, photography, and playing and watching sports.

John is predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth Walker, and his sister, Martha, “Susie” Walker.

John is survived by his brother, William Walker; his first cousin, David (Marty) Kent, and John also leaves behind cousins, nephews, and nieces.

The memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Highlands Funeral Home. 3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY.
