CAMPBELL, Joyce Anne, 68, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Norton Suburban Hospital. The former Joyce Bishop was born in Warrensburg, MO to Charles F. and Beatrice Bishop on April 10, 1944. She was raised in Johnson Co., KS. She graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School, in Kansas City, 1962. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 1966 with a degree in Nursing. She earned her MBA and also received her degree in Business and Marketing. Joyce established her own business, NS Incorporated in 1993. This was a National Placement Service for Neurosurgeons. She owned and enjoyed American Saddlebred horses, which is why she moved to Louisville. She is survived by her life partner of over 20 years, John R. Franck; sisters, Carole Bishop Smith of Lenexa, KS and Jennifer B. Dahlmann (Lt. Col. James Dahlmann) of Colorado Springs, Co; a niece, a nephew and a great niece. Her funeral service will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 11 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
