to Charles Oscar Riggins and Dorothy Porter Riggins in Blackshear, Georgia, Joyce met her husband
Sonny at a USO dance in Savannah, and they married in 1955. Joyce attended Barry College in Rome, Georgia, and had a productive career as an executive secretary.
Preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Charles Porter Riggins and James Davenport Riggins; Joyce is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles “Sonny” Lynn, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, 12/30 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., with service following at 12:00 p.m.
