SANDERS, KATHERINE "KITTY" N., 97, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Klondike Manor.
Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the former Katherine Nowacki, a member of Buechel United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Women's Society of Christian Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Sanders; and son, Joseph "Sandy" Sanders Jr.
She is survived by her grandson, Galen Sanders; great-granddaughter, Bethany Sanders; sister, Helen N. Adams (Lewis); and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at noon, Friday, March 11, 2011 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
