Obituary for Kathleen Mary Speevack (Hammond)
Kathleen Mary Speevack, 76, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021. She attended Christ the King Grade School and Loretto High School. She was an active member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Arleen Hammond; her brothers Lindsey Hammond, Marvin Hammond, and Emmett Hammond; and her sisters, Mary Ann Hammond, Charlotte Hammond, Rosalind Mudd, and Margaret Ransdell.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Speevack; her two sons, Chris (Kristin) Meyer and Cary (Lee Anne) Meyer; her brother David (Deanna) Hammond; and her sisters, Susan (Bill) Taylor and Patti (Claire) Morgan; grandchildren, Nic (Ferren) Meyer, Kathleen Meyer, Tony Meyer, and Jackson Meyer; and her great grandchildren, Bryce Robel, Brenton Robel, Macy Meyer, Beckett Robel, Brooks Meyer, and JJ Meyer.
Kathleen cherished her family and friends, living a life filled with laughter and fun while seeking to help anyone she met in need.
Funeral service will be at 10:00am on Thursday, April 1, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 3:00-8:00pm, at the funeral home.
