BROWN, Kaye Elaine Groves
Kaye Elaine Groves Brown passed away on 9/30/2022. Born to Kenneth C. Groves and Jeannette Groves Proctor in Mineral Wells, TX, and raised in Ft. Worth and Arlington, Texas. She was a proud alumnus of the University of Texas at Arlington and an alumna of the Phi Mu sorority.
After graduating college, she worked as a paralegal at law firms in the Dallas/Ft. Worth
area, specializing in the medical malpractice field.
After retirement from the law, she began her career as the best Mother to 4 children that any kid could ask. As her children got older, she started her "lunch Mom" career at St. Barnabas and Trinity High School so she could be close to her children.
She was also a baseball Mom. She spent countless hours shuffling her boys to and from practices and games. She even spent three seasons running a concession stand! Kaye was a shopper! She loved to bargain hunt, craft projects, and her hot glue gun. She loved Christmas and decorating the house and tree!
Her real love, though, besides her children, is her grandbabies! She loves ALL her girls! Her life was hectic with the school and sports programs, but she never missed the chance to see her children thrive.
Kaye leaves behind to celebrate her life her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Leo J. Brown III; her mother, Jeannette; and brothers James Groves, John, Paul, and David.
She leaves behind her children, Leo IV (Kelly), Andrew (Caitlin), Matthew (Priscilla), and Bridget; her grandbabies, Annabelle, Elaine, Grace, Scarlett, and Hazel. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth C. Groves; stepfather, Leo T. Proctor; and father-in-law, Leo J. Brown, Jr.
