GOODMAN, KENNETH J., 82, of Louisville, passed away at his home on Friday, December 24, 2010.
He graduated from Male High School in 1945, where he was captain of the baseball team. He graduated from the University of Louisville. He was president of Sigma Phi Epsilon, a member of the L Club, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church where he was active in the men's club and Sarafun.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Arthur O. and Isabelle Goodman; son, David Joseph Goodman; and brother, Dr. Arthur L. Goodman.
He is survived by his wife the former, Edwina Crume Goodman; children, Nancy Smith, (David), Chris Goodman (Cathy), Ann Simpson, Raymond Goodman and Marie Rich (David); brother, Joseph G. Goodman (Lil); eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Ave. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass Monday at St. Raphael.
