Killianna Hope Waiz, 22 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away July 26, 2020 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born August 19, 1997 in Evansville, Indiana.
She loved to make people laugh and smile and loved her dog Gunner. She loved anything about hair or makeup, being with her friends, and playing music, especially the loud kind. Her talent in swimming and field hockey was incredible to watch.
Killianna is preceded in death by paternal grandfather Carl "Buzz" Waiz and her maternal grandparents William "Bill" Zody and Mary Lou Zody and her beloved dog Gunner.
She was survived by her loving parents, Mark and Karen Zody Waiz; a sister, Keightley Waiz; paternal grandmother, Virginia Waiz; her uncles and aunts, Mike (Debbie) Waiz, Sue Ann (Billy) Rainbolt, Kevin Waiz and Lin Waiz, Mike (Karen) Zody, Mark (Theresa) Zody. Her cousins: Todd (Jennifer) Waiz, Kim (Chris) Kirtley, Steven (Shannon Williams) Everitt, Mandy (Joe) Basham, Katelin Waiz, Andrew (Rachel) Waiz, Haley Waiz, Rachel (Tyler) Merchant, Jack Zody, Kameron Prather-Middleton, McKenna (Jesse) Ruedinger, and Kyler Zody; Her second cousins: Lexi Waiz, Trenton Waiz, Malachy Martin, Cameron Kirtley, Chloe Kirtley, Stephen Everitt, Parker Basham, Blake Basham, Ethan Earley, Eloise Waiz, Layla Middleton, Maelin Middleton, Aubrey Wilson, Jack Merchant, and Wren Merchant.
Visitation will be 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Ky 40205. A private graveside service will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
