Obituary for Laura L. Dunne (Brawner)
Laura L. Dunne, 53 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023.
She was the former Laura L. Brawner, born in Fort Knox, KY.
She was a graduate of Bellarmine College and earned her MBA at the University of Louisville.
Laura was Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Baird Trust and a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
Laura was on the board of Riverside, The Farnsley-Moreman Landing, and a member of The Woman's Club of Louisville.
Laura was also an avid runner and participated in numerous marathons and triathlons. She was a two-time Ironman.
Laura was preceded in death by her father, Richard Brawner. Survivors include her husband, Gene, of 23 great years; mother, Sharon Brawner, & sister, Gwen Packer (Daniel).
Her celebration of life will be held from 4-8 on Wednesday May 10, 2023 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
