Obituary for Leona Marie Garza (Kuerzi)
Leona Kuerzi Garza passed away October 7, 2022 at the age of 80. She was an active member of Most Blessed Sacrament and retired from BellSouth (AT&T).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al Kuerzi Sr. and Mary Rose Kuerzi; brothers, Al Kuerzi Jr. and Thomas Kuerzi; sister-in-law, Joannie Kuerzi; brother-in-law, Patrick McAdam; nephew, Aaron McAdam; and dear friend, Mary Filiatreau.
She is survived by her son, Scott Garza; sisters, Linda Smith, Lois (Tom) Clark, Laura McAdam; brothers, Ronnie Kuerzi (Stephanie), Glenn Kuerzi (Mary Ann), Stan Kuerzi, Marty Kuerzi (Edie), James Kuerzi; sister-in-law, Sandy Kuerzi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 1- 6pm, followed by a Catholic funeral service.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Most Blessed Sacrament in honor of Leona.
