On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Lloyd Henry Prater, son of Horace James and Nellie Prater, died peacefully at Norton Hospital Downtown. He was born November 6, 1931, in Louisville Kentucky. Lloyd was married to Norma Lee (Stuteville) Prater for 68 years. He worked and retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an accomplished photographer, studied computer science, and enjoyed time spent in nature; these same interests were shared by his family. He is survived by his Wife Norma Lee, Daughter Susan (Prater) Spencer, Son Gary L Prater (Donna) and 5 grandsons Thomas Prater, Ian Spencer, Samuel Spencer, Daniel Prater and Peter Spencer.
