Obituary for Lorraine Justice Coleman
Lorraine J. Coleman, died November 14th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Lee Coleman (Leo).
Lorraine was born in Pike County, KY on December 7th, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Abner L. and Mary Esther Justice.
Lorraine was dedicated to her family and was a beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister. She was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years, and taught in both the Pike County, KY and Jefferson County, KY school systems.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Pugh; and her brothers, Hazard Justice and Victor Justice.
She is survived by her daughter, Kanda Rose Graas, and son-in-law, Michael A. Graas, of Louisville, KY; her grandson, Sean Michael Graas, and his wife, Cathleen Marie Graas; her great-granddaughter, Audrey Marlo Merriman, also of Louisville; and her brother, Hassel Justice, of Pikeville, KY.
Mrs. Coleman's funeral will be a graveside service at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 17th, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held later in the year.
