HARRIS, Lou (England), 80, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Oriental Ladies and the Greeterettes. She was an active volunteer of Kosair Charities. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Smith. She was a loving wife, to her husband of over 50 years, Sherman Harris; a caring mother to her children, Terry L. Harris (Sarah) and Peggy Harris Combs (John). Mrs. Harris adored her grandchildren, Whitney, Darron, Lindsey, Nicki, Jason and Megan also her great grandchildren. She was “Mom” and “Nana” to everyone she met. She was loved by all that knew her. Her service will be 11am Monday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 1-4pm and 5-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Charities.
