Obituary for Lucille Sanders (Albro)
Lucille Albro Sanders, 99, of Louisville, passed away April 6, 2020 at Nazareth Home-Clifton. She was born July 22, 1920 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Finis and Clarinda Raymer Albro. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Sanders; a daughter, Faye Arington and brother, Curtis Albro.
Lucille looked forward to volunteering every Wednesday morning at Baptist East Hospital. She was a past member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and present member of St. Matthews Baptist Church. She enjoyed going out with her friends for meals. Lucille cherished the time she lived at Brownsboro Park spending time with her friends and the devoted staff.
Survivors include her nephew, Lenny Albro (Karen); nieces, Patti Marsh (Edward), Joan Smith (Gene); a son-in-law, James C. Arington; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
Because of the unfortunate circumstances of Covid-19, services to celebrate the very well-loved Lucille Albro Sanders will be held at a later date.
