Obituary for Marcia Frances Ghesquier
Marcia Frances Ghesquier, 84, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023.
She attended St. Catherine Academy, Springfield, KY and received her Master’s Degree from University of Louisville. She served as a teacher in the Dominican Order in Nashville and Memphis, TN. Marcia retired as a teacher from Ballard High School in Louisville. She received the honor of being Designated Hermit of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ora (McNeese) Ghesquier.
She is survived by her sister, Victoria Stevens (Ben Adrian); nephew, Shannon Stevens; niece, Dawn Stevens; great-niece, Rachael Stevens; and cousins, Margaret Hyde, Mike Thompson, and Greg Thompson.
Her memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Cherrywood Rd. Burial will take place at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
