Obituary for Margaret "Bunch" Pickett (Russell)
Margaret “Bunch” Pickett, 93, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at her residence.
She was born and raised in Greensburg, KY. Margaret was a retired beautician who worked with her sister at the Davenport Beauty Shop in Louisville.
She loved flowers, sewing, and was an amazing cook. She was a loving wife, mother, and granny to her family, and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pickett; daughter, Paula Farris; her parents; three sisters, and five brothers.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Sherry L. Johnson (John), and Theresa A. Meyers (Arvil); six grandchildren, David Johnson (Laura), Christopher Johnson (Kathryn), Whitney Abell (Eric), Blake Meyers (Richelle), Bradley Farris and Sarah Farris; seven great-grandchildren, Sam and Caroline Johnson, Jack and Palmer Abell, Jack and Emily Johnson, Landon Farris; one sister, Tina Rosenbaum; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Per her wishes, a very short graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central 2501 North Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, KY, 40160.
