LaVerne Smith Seitz, 99, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

She was retired from Kentucky Baptist Convention and a member of Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church.

LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maggie Smith; sister, Thelma Marrillia and brother, J.D. Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Roger and Lynn Seitz; grandsons, Daniel, Jordan, Joshua, R.P. and Nicholas Seitz and nephews, David and Don Smith.

Her funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service Friday at Highlands.
