Margie Pate Wooldridge ,our beautiful, beloved mother, Margie Mae, passed away on April 21, 2024 in her 100th year.

She was the youngest of eight children born to Bertha and Edward Pate. All of her siblings predeceased her.

Margie was a graduate of Shawnee High School. She grew up in Parkland where she met her husband, Bob. They were married 76 years before his death in 2022. She worked at the Mengle Company before her marriage.
Margie was a lover of animals, a dog, cat or parakeet usually graced the household. Mice, fish, snakes, lizards, and orphaned baby birds were often in the mix.

She was happiest with her family, and loved everyone to gather.

She is survived by her five children, Marcia Lynn Newberry (Frank Collesano), Bob (Denise), Ethel Penny (Bob), Mark, and Tom (Mary Beth). Ten grandchildren, nineteen (almost) great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

We know Dad has been awaiting her arrival. She will be welcomed by many relatives, friends, and furry companions.
Rest, dear Momma. You have earned your peace. We will miss you always.
