Marsha Ann Hewitt Kelly passed away on January 17, 2021. Marsha was a beloved wife, mother, and friend. She was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey on March 17, 1942 to Sara and Francis Hewitt, both of whom preceded her in death.

Marsha was a graduate of Atherton High School in Louisville. She attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated as a licensed dental hygienist. She was also a member of Sigma Kappa sorority while she attended the University of Louisville. While at dental school, she met the love of her life, James “Jim” Calloway Kelly II. Marsha and Jim were married on August 10, 1963. Marsha worked as a dental hygienist for one year and then dedicated her time to be home to care for their children. She later worked as office manager at her husband’s dental practice for 15 years.

Marsha loved her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Gigi and Grammy. She treasured time spent watching and taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with girlfriends over coffee each week. Marsha and Jim also had dinners with other couples they have known through the years. She was actively involved in her children’s schools, serving on PTA and volunteering. She loved traveling with her husband, close friends, and family to various places. She especially loved traveling to Hilton Head Island.

Marsha is survived by her loving husband, Dr. James Calloway Kelly II; her son, Jay Kelly (Karen) of Shelbyville; two daughters, Dana Kelly Presnell (Alan) of Richmond and Tricia Noel Bellucci (Jeff) of Simpsonville. She leaves six grandchildren, Alexis Kelly, Peyton Presnell, Parker Presnell, Andrew Bellucci, Jacob Bellucci, and Nicholas Bellucci.
