Obituary for Mary Pat Campbell
Mary Patricia (Mary Pat) Finegan, 87, of Louisville Ky, passed away Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 at Baptist Hospital East. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Shady Glen Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Twin Spires Camping Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Clyde James Campbell; daughter Mary Francis Campbell; and her beloved sister, Susan Thompson. She is survived by her children: Lynn Marie Heick, Cheryl Ann Campbell, Lori Jean Briscoe, Robert MacGregor Campbell and Kara Campbell. She was loved dearly by her eight grandchildren: Christopher, Nikolas, Pierce, Kayla, Dustin, Harrison, Jens and Zoe; as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Janiya, Leiah and Aurora.
Mary Pat attended St. Agnes Elementary School, Presentation Academy and Bellarmine College. She worked many years as a legal secretary, but did her best work as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
There will be no visitation. Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., has been entrusted with arrangements. A private family service will be held graveside with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville. Memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Home of the Innocents.
