DUGGINS, Mary Jane “Janie”, 79, previously of Louisville, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her residence in Sarasota, Fl.
Born in Loretto, KY., she was the former Mary Jane Buckler. She retired as an accountant with G.E. after 25 years of service and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles R. and William H. Buckler and sisters, Mary Loyd Burge and Patsy Gahafer.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Walter “Wally” Duggins; sister, Ann Browning (Henry) of Louisville; sister-in-law, Mildred Hardin of Louisville; brother-in-law, Edward Duggins (Joan) of Fl., and several nieces and nephews.
Her Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday June 4, 2010 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Rd. with entombment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
