Obituary for Mary Lou Gabehart (Kessler)
Mary Lou (Kessler) Gabehart, 83, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.
Mary Lou retired from LG&E after working there for 40+ years. She was born in Magnolia, KY to William and Lillian Kessler. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She loved shopping, going out on the boat at the lake with her loving husband, Neal; and was an avid UK fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillian Kessler.
She is survived by her loving husband, Neal Gabehart; her brother, Marvin Dailey (Deborah Keith); nieces, Beth Ann Gabehart, Rebecca Phillips (Richard) and Amy Laing; and nephews, Sam, Stephen Farmer (Kelly) and Tyler Dailey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6th, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Her funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to HOSPARUS or Kosair for Kids.
