Obituary for Mary Jude Herbert (Kelly)
Mary Jude Herbert, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Martin M. and Mary Discher Kelly. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clay.
Jude was a technology teacher at St. James Catholic School and a member of The Queen’s Daughters. She loved the sunshine and found special joy in crafting, UK sports, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Herbert; her children, Robbie (Kelly) and Ellie; her sister, Anne White; her brother, John Kelly (Gail); and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Her funeral Mass will be at St. James Catholic Church, 1826 Edenside Avenue, on Wednesday, June 1, at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The City of St. Jude, 2048 West Fairview Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36108 or to St. James Catholic School.
