Mary Helen Kennedy Moore, 82, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Baptist Health. She was born June 20, 1937 in Hardinsburg, Ky to the late Hattie Pate and John Thomas Kennedy. She worked as a Certified Public Accountant for the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, a member of Retrovaille of Detroit, and helped found Retrovaille of Louisville.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Leroy Moore, Sr., children, Norman Leroy Moore, Jr., (Natalia), Katrina Marie Lee, Yvonne Kay Jones, Malia Moana Russell (Duncan), Brandon Matthias Moore; grandchildren, Michael Brown, Rachel Woosley, Christina Root, Sarah Russell, Anne Mary Russell, David Russell, Daniel Russell, Rebecca Russell; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2019 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, Ky 40205. Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at St. Athanasius, 5915 Outer Loop
