Obituary for Mary "Jo" Ramsey (Schnatterer)
Mary Jo (Schnatterer) Ramsey, 89, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, at Baptist Health Louisville.
Jo was a graduate of St. Francis of Assisi grade school, Sacred Heart Academy, and she attended St. Helena’s Commercial College. Jo was a long time member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, and was Secretary/Bookkeeper for the old St. Barnabas School, retiring after 24 years of service.
Preceding her in death was her husband, F. Ray “Steve” Ramsey; her sister, Janett Wolf; and her parents, George and Louise Schnatterer.
She is survived by sons, Steve (Sandy) of Jacksonville, FL, Kenneth (Charlotte) of Fisherville, KY, and Gregg (Judi) of Louisville, KY; daughter, Laura Cline (Jeff); and grandchildren, Patrick Cline, and Stewart, Andrew, Melanie, Michael, and Jonathan Ramsey.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, February 13, at John Paul II Catholic Church, 3042 Hikes Ln. Visitation will be from 2-7pm on Tuesday, February 12, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research (P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929), Kentucky Humane Society, or to the charity of your choice.
