Obituary for Mary Leona Roser (Dittmeier)
Mary Leona Roser, 91, passed away on December 27, 2020 at Wesley Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Roser. They shared 34 years of marriage together. She was born in Louisville KY, the daughter of John & Sue Dittmeier, and graduated from Ursuline Academy.
Her career included time at Nat City, and was a real estate agent where she received numerous awards over the years for her accomplishments (top seller, most listings). She & Gene loved socializing with their friends, the Borgmeiers & Hillerich’s. Later in life after Gene passed she enjoyed her friendships with Bernice Borgmeier, Delores Hillerich & Mary Plappert. She was an avid reader, enjoyed nature & animals.
She is preceded in death by her son, Tim Roser.
She is survived by her children, Claudia (Jerry Plappert), Gary Roser, Doug Roser (Kathy), Susan (Kenny Stottman) & Dana Roser; along with 10 grandchildren, 16 great children +1 on the way; & 1 great great grandchild! And she loved spending time with all of her family!
Visitation for Leona will be on Sunday, January 3rd, 1 to 5pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville KY. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, January 4th at the funeral home, with internment to follow in Calvary cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in her name to The Animal Care Society.
