Thomson, Mary Elizabeth “Beth”, 75, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Norton Suburban.
She was the former Beth Harden, a homemaker and an active member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Moody Thomson; sister, Marty Adams and grandson, Benjamin Thomson DeSpain.
She is survived by her children, Mary DeSpain (James), Linda Fitzgerald (Dr. Philip), Jackie Thomson (Mark Brighty) and Benita Hutt (Gary); brother Jack Harden, Jr.; sisters, Jerra Linn, Betty Byarlay (Tom) and JoAnn Guresky (Peter); grandchildren, Mary Brooke Shaw (Dr. Stephen), Maxwell Bloyd DeSpain, Gretchen Thomson Fitzgerald, Molly Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Sara Rae Brighty, Benjamin Connor Hutt, and Kevin Michael Hutt.
Her funeral service will be at 2:30p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 319 Browns Lane with a reception to follow in Gordon Hall. Private entombment at Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00p.m. Saturday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
