ZELLICH, MARY LOUISE "MISS MARY" HEFFERNN, 102, of Louisville, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Nazareth Home.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and previously taught ballet and tap dancing for 50 years for the Louisville Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Department. She was a member of the St. Agnes Seniors, the Little sisters of the Poor Auxiliary, the Nazareth Home Auxiliary, and the Passionist Auxiliary.
Ms. Zellich was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; her son, Jack; and six siblings.
She is survived by four grandchildren, John Zellich, Stephen Zellich, of Orlando, FL., Lauri Bayne and Colleen Tamashiro, both of Tampa, FL; daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Zellich; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including, Ann Montgomery, David Hill, Don Hill, Donna Hill and Richie Hill. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Nazareth Home, 2000 Newburg Road with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Highlands Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Nazareth Home or St. Agnes Catholic Church.
