Obituary for Merribeth G. Waskom (Goulet)
Waskom, Merribeth G., age 77, died August 26, 2023 at Baptist Health East after a short illness, surrounded by her family.
Born on 9/1/1945 in Rock Island, Illinois eventually moving to Louisville, KY. She was the daughter of the late Albert “Big Al” and Mariella Goulet. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Patrick J. Waskom. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Carrie (Randy) McCauley and Darren (Alicia) Waskom; her grandchildren: Morgan McCauley, Patrick Waskom, Chesla Johnson, Jaystin Johnson and Dakota Waskom and her sibling, Lane (Josette) Goulet.
She loved spending time with her family, doing word searches, watching TV shows with her daughter and granddaughter, having Saturday Night Movie Night and a glass (or two of wine before dinner.
Visitation will be Friday, September 1st from 2-8pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Funeral Service will be 10am Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to K9s for Warriors.
