Obituary for Michael Richard "Mike" Heckman
Michael Richard Heckman, 60, passed away on April 15, 2024 in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
He was a graduate of Trinity High School and provided many years of service to Dana Corporation and Tower Automotive. He inherited a never-ending passion for cars from his father and enjoyed his association with the Marauder Club.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Richard, and his mother, Dorothy (Rosie).
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Caitlin Heckman, granddaughter, Sirenna Heckman, siblings, Laura Hollifield and Donna Stich, his partner, Terese Brinson, and many, many loving friends and family.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Immediately following the funeral, committal prayers will be held in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery.
Mike's presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to be a beacon of warmth and joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
