Obituary for Michael John Sarvela
Michael John Sarvela, aka “The Mayor and Governor of KCPCC”, age 26, passed away on Saturday, Feb 18, 2023 at Home of the Innocents.
Born in Clarksville, TN, Mikey was a high-school graduate and loved Lionel Ritchie, Michael Jackson and the University of Louisville Cardinals.
He was preceded in death by a special grandpa, Joseph Simon.
Mikey is survived by his parents, Kent and Rebecca Sarvela; his guardian and other mom, Tomika Watson (Jymyle); grandma, Charlotte Simon; his siblings, Sydney Watson, Tony Whitehead, Christina Ward, Tabitha Elkins, James Whitehead, and Robin Sarvela; aunt, Shenita Gasper (Quan); uncle, Clifford Simon (Nicole); his special roommate who was like a brother, Giovanni; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. 40205. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Highlands. Private burial will be at a later date.
