Miles Damien Brinley- October 8, 1962- April 4, 2023 of Louisville, Kentucky, beloved son, brother, uncle
and friend to many, passed away way too soon at the age of 60.
Miles was known for his genuine kindness, honesty and smile that would light up the room. He was so
proud of his family and was always quick to celebrate or tell you of their accomplishments. Miles was a
self-taught guitar player and enjoyed sharing his love of music with friends and family that would “jam”
with him. Miles favorite memories are of he and his Mom attending ballgames for his beloved U of L
football team. They would always banter about sports, work or world politics, neither were short on opinions and they also enjoyed reminiscing the young athlete he was during his football and baseball days.
Miles was hired 42 years ago by Jewish Hospital and served them well in many roles, but he was most
proud of his current position as Sterile Processing Technician. He was often requested by the surgeons
to prep their surgical trays. He never failed to share a smile and a greeting to those he met. Over the
years he received many awards for his outstanding work ethic and dedication.
Miles is preceded in death by his father Freddie Brinley and sister Janice Jenkins.
Left to cherish his memory his mother, Jean McCann; brother, Freddie Brinley; sisters Kim Wimsatt
(Joe); Jean (GiGi) Brinley, his Aunt Dixie, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
