HEIDEN, NANCY, 83, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010.
The former Nancy Gray, she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, was a beautiful Christian woman who as an Army wife made a home for her family no matter where they were stationed. She was a wonderful wife and mother as well as an accomplished artist. A gentle person who volunteered at nursing homes and hospitals, she also served as one of the Arlington Ladies at Arlington Cemetery in our nation's capital.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles K. Heiden; son, Charles Gray Heiden (Tina); and her granddaughters, Allison and Shelby Heiden.
Her funeral service is 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with burial in Kentucky Veterans' Cemetery, Radcliff, KY. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. on Monday, November 22nd at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Nancy's memory to Volunteers of America.
