Obituary for Neda Vontrue "Vonnie" Buckman (Meadors)
Neda “Vonnie” Buckman, 92 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, November 16th, 2019.
She was an amazing, hard working , strong willed and loving mother, grandmother and GG to her family. She was always willing to help someone no matter what the job was. She was a member of Springdale Presbyterian Church for 53 years.
She was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Charles “Buck” Buckman, Sr., her parents, Dewey and Virginia Meadors, her sister, Alene Milliner, her brother, Roy Meadors and many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her son, Charles W. Buckman, Jr. (Karen), her daughters, Peggy Murphy (Murph), Janet Miller (R.D.), her grandchildren, Kimberly Laun (John), Ryan Miller and Shannon Miller, her great-grandchildren, Annaleigh Marie and Eleanor Rose and her sister, Betty Jean Ray.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19th from 12-8pm at Highlands Family Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Funeral Service will be 11am Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
