HARRIS, ORTELLA, 90, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Norton Suburban Hospital.
Born in Marion Co., she was the former Ortella Deane and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Omer "Tom" and Lela Belton Deane; her first husband, Alfred Wilcher; second husband, James Harris; daughters, Connie Biven and Beverly Meredith; and a brother, Oscar Deane.
She is survived by her son, Al Wilcher (Barbara); brother, Gregory Deane (Joanna); sisters, Opal Woods and Frances Parker (Lloyd); six grandchildren, Tony (Amy) and Robert (Laura) Biven, Brian Wilcher (Kelly), Leslie Meyers (Bill), David (Kim) and Matthew Meredith; 10 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Her service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Highlands.
